Our audiologists are highly-educated, experienced professionals who specialize in the prevention, identification, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of hearing disorders. They are certified nationally by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), they are licensed by the State of Tennessee, and they are members of the American Academy of Audiology.
Kayla is the Hearing Instrument Specialist at the Center. She has been working in our Audiology department for 8 years and employed at the Center for over 10 years. Kayla enjoys learning the new advancements that are being implemented in hearing aids and passing those on to our patients. One of her favorite things about her position is being able to bring quality of life back to someone who has become isolated because they aren’t able to communicate properly due to their hearing loss. When Kayla is not hard at work helping our hearing impaired population, she enjoys spending her time at home with her husband and daughter. Her hobbies include crafting, home projects, reading, anything University of Tennessee Football and Basketball related and just being outdoors.
Jordan Reynolds is the audiology and office assistant who is working on his master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Jordan enjoys the community and needs our center provides for those in the West TN region as he has volunteered with us for almost 10 years through his days in high school and university. Jordan enjoys being challenged with each new day, so he can continuously work towards growth and development with every experience. He is passionate about providing assistance in any way possible from grabbing patients a bottle of water to squeezing in a hearing aid cleaning or even helping with technology issues when needed. Additionally, Jordan loves the outdoors including hiking, kayaking, gardening, and scuba diving: while attending the University of Tennessee at Martin, Jordan gained his certification in recreational scuba diving. When he is indoors, he enjoys playing with his dogs (Daisy and Izzy) and ferrets (Larry and Keylee) and being able to do crafts, such as crochet and macramé.
