Are all hearing aids the same?
All hearing aids are not the same. There are differences in technology, price, size, and results. The best hearing aid for you depends on your listening needs, type of hearing loss, and lifestyle. Your hearing healthcare professional will review the many options with you.
How do I decide which hearing aid(s) is right for me?
Most hearing healthcare professionals recommend that you choose the most advanced hearing aid that fits your budget. Generally, the more active you are, the more benefit you will gain from more advanced technology.
How long does the battery last?
Anywhere between 5-7 days. Typically a patient needs about 2 1/2 boxes of 40 batteries per year.
How long will a hearing aid last?
Minimum of 5 years depending on how well the hearing aid is maintained.
What if I don't like the hearing aids that I select?
Every hearing aid through our Center has a 30 day trail period where the patient is able to return the hearing aid with a minimal restocking fee or exchange the hearing aid for a different style or technology level at no additional fee other than the increase in hearing aid cost if going up in level.
What is the biggest benefit with getting hearing aids?
Word understanding in conversation in multiple listening environments increases every patient's quality of life because they are able to engage and be involved with their loved ones again.
Can hearing aids be passed on to someone else?
Yes, if the hearing aids are standard or behind the ear style hearing aids that are able to be reprogrammed and fit for any patient/ hearing loss within the device's fitting range.
